Movie Poster

Sorry I cannot attend class today, I'm feeling far from well and think it best that I not come in.

Anyway, my poster. This is supposed to be for a movie that was never made, based on the t.v. show 'Invader Zim'. They had cancelled the show before even the script was written. Still, the idea was that the main 'Savior of Earth', Dib, wanted to know why he was so bad at saving it-... So he goes looking for the truth behind his origins. When he finds out, he goes to invade the invaders. Become the enemy.

I used muted tones on the boys and red and blue for the background and text.

Originally, I had three other characters in here, but as my computer overheated I lost those three and was stuck with this.

An Interesting Poster

First of all, I like this because there's so much purple and combined with green, it's wonderful. The symmetry and overall eerie-ness of it makes it perfect for a zombie movie poster. I chose this one specifically because I find masks quite an interesting subject for art and when executed well, can be very visually appealing. Sure, this is creepy and I certainly wouldn't hang it on my wall, but it caught my eye the second I went on to it's page.

I love photography and writing, I mainly do fiction/fantasy themed art. This picture was meant to portray different emotions in the same context and area. I was originally going to have them all seperately, but I feel as if I always have mixed emotions of situations, whether they are good or bad. It seemed to work well when they were all put together. Even though this isn't me, I feel as if it is a self-portrait of sorts. It is my nephew and though and I love him (and his brother) very much.

He was out playing, as I was taking pictures for my art account on deviantart (http://pyre-glyph.deviantart.com/). When I told him that it was time to come in, he put a feather behind his ear. I love my nephews very much and this made me smile.

While I was editing the pictures (mainly changing the contrast and tint) he came and wanted to help me with the last one.Over all, I'm proud of this picture and hope to do something like it again.
